[ Unfortunately for Tony, and perhaps as an unfair advantage to Peter, he can sense all the little changes in his behavior and the kinds of biological reactions he has no control over. Tony has always been a little high strung, at least when it comes to things like the energy he seems to carry himself with, but nothing compares to the hammering of his pulse in Peter's ear as if he has it pressed up against Tony's chest. He can see the minute shift in his body as he moves, smell the increase in pheromones on the back of his tongue, practically taste faint traces of sweat on his skin. Peter has always been hyperaware of Tony thanks to his admiration for and later crush on the man, but now that it's been aired and reciprocated, he doesn't have to try and resist the urge to dial in to everything about him as he stands feet away and returns the same awkward look that Peter is giving him. ]

He can't say that FRIDAY is going to hold his attention for long, if at all, not when Peter blinks and suddenly Tony is closer. Inhaling suddenly and deeply, he bites back a moan that threatens to bubble up at how easily the older man breaks through the barrier that's been between them for so long as if it's the easiest, most natural thing in the world. Peter can't stop himself from shivering at the way he can feel Tony's words against his skin any more than he can stop the goosebumps that raise in the wake of them. ]

[ The words come before he can think of a better response, something smooth or witty as is deserving of someone as smart as Tony. Wincing a little at how cheesy he sounds instead, Peter hesitates a moment before leaning in to bridge the distance between them and claim a kiss. Maybe he doesn't have the right thing to say, but hopefully his actions can speak loudly enough. ]
